How do you build easily a small boat or raft?

Hey guys i have a small river behind my neighborhood and my friends and i want to ride it. Its about a 15-20 feet wide and about a foot deep. If anyone can tell me anything about this it would be a tremendous help. Please keep it simple because we do not want to spend alot of money. the most i would spend is about . Thanks alot.

How can I build a small motor boat?

Hey, I wanted to build a small motor boat! Something that could hold like…….oh two people probably! Something with seats, and a steering wheel, throtle……you know a motor boat! Anyway, I don’t really know where to start, or how much it will cost. That is why I wanted to build it, so save money. Anyway, I don’t really have a design either……..any help would be appreciated!!

We found a creek in the woods and we found out that there a fish in it and we want to get deeper in it but we don’t know how but to use a boat. Any designs or anything?

Could a small boat be purchased or built for a dog to sail himself?

I have a friend with a small pond. I would like to know if a boat couls be built ofr purchased for the dog to be trained to get into the boat and sail himself around. Also it would be neat if we could take over from the shore, and speed him all around, doing donuts and scarring the chil dren or such. It would be like a 3 foot boat with room for the dog, a way to steer, and all the radio equipment. We would also want to put a little doggie Captain’s hat on him.

Does anyone have plans or know where to get them to build a small boat out of plastic wood?

i would like to build a small boat out of plywood , plank construction or plastic wood. I can buy plastic wood here in my town and this makes sense but has anyone built a boat recently out of plastic wood.And what were the costs etc.

Where can I find boat building plans with complete full sized patterns for a 1st time small boat builder?

I’ve never built a boat and am NOT a handy person. I’d really like to build a small row boat or a boat that I can put a small motor on. It has to be very easy to build–cut, screw, tape, paint–plus cheap! I need Full Sized Patterns for the complete small boat- not just the hull. I have done some research but can’t find it. It can’t be any longer then 8′ and 7′ would be better. Needs a flat bottom. No more then 3 sheets of plywood to build but 2 would be better. I want to learn how to build a boat but a simple one. I want to spend some time with my dad. Thanks, from an older woman.

the question really says it all, i don’t have much woodworking experience, but im a fast learner, but i would need a form of learning, aka, detailed instructions. where would i find instructions, and plans, is it really worth buying plans? if so, who’s plans are the best? any informatino would be helpful
what about kits? any good? worth the $$, they seem expensive
